2. For what purposes do we process your personal data?
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Registration and purchase of tickets for events organized by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation through the MyPos payment platform;
- Preparation, organization, and conduct of events organized by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation, which are announced on this website;
- Reporting to funding institutions and partners of the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation that provide financial support for the organization of the relevant events announced on this website;
- Preparation of summary data (which, after being summarized, are no longer considered “personal data”) for the preparation of reports for accounting and audit purposes to funding institutions
- Sending information about similar events organized by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation;
- Fulfilling obligations that come from the applicable legislation.
During the events, photos, videos, and screenshots may be taken for communication and reporting purposes.
If you don’t want to be photographed or recorded, you need to let the organizer know right before the event starts.
3. What categories of personal data do we collect?
Depending on the type of registration or ticket purchase, we collect personal data regarding:
- First and last name;
- Email address;
- Mobile phone number;
- Organization/Business/Media/Institution and UIC/BULSTAT;
- Country of origin;
- Payment information (when purchasing a ticket) – collected through the payment operator MyPos (BCNP Training EOOD and the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation do not store bank card data).
If necessary, for reporting purposes to funded institutions, we may collect personal data regarding:
- Age group;
- Gender.
Gender and age data are used to compile summary information about participants in the event, which does not contain personal data. The summary information is provided to the funding institutions.
Funding organizations may receive personal data related to gender and age only in the context of a possible audit of the implementation of projects of the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation.
4. On what legal basis do we process your personal data?
- Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR) – for the purposes of reporting to funding institutions;
- Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) – for registration for events and provision of purchased tickets;
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) – to ensure the effective conduct of events organized by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation and to promote the results thereof, as well as to subsequently send information about similar events.
Data subjects have the option to opt out of receiving further information at any time.
5. Who can we share your data with?
Your personal data may be shared with:
- Funding institutions of the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation for the specific event you have registered for through this website – for reporting and audit purposes;
- Auditing bodies in case of an audit.

Important: When making a payment through MyPos, you provide data directly to MyPos, and BCNL Training EOOD and the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation do not have access to card numbers or other sensitive payment data.
The data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area unless this is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation.
6. How long do we store your personal data?
Personal data is stored for up to 5 years after the end of the relevant project or for a longer period if required by EU funding management rules and applicable accounting legislation.
Personal data processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of BCNL Training EOOD and the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law Foundation shall be processed until the end of the activity in connection with which it is processed or until the data subject objects.
7. What rights do you have?
You have the right to request:
- Access to your personal data;
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Deletion of personal data under certain conditions;
- Restriction of processing;
- Objection to processing;
